Tea Leaves and Legacies

Elaine is baffled when she learns she is about to receive a small fortune, as sole beneficiary of an estate left by her late husband’s aunt. She contacts an estate lawyer to correct what she believes must be a mistake. The lawyer assures her that there is no mistake, and Elaine wonders how Ben’s family acquired the money in the first place. As she tracks down the truth, she learns she isn’t the only one questioning the rightful recipient of the inheritance. Meanwhile, Jan is thrilled when she learns that Jack Weston, her daughter Tara’s boyfriend, has bought a ring and finally plans to propose. But Jack is critically injured in a boating accident and can’t remember where he put the ring. Jan sets out to help her soon-to-be son-in-law, before Tara figures out Jack’s plans.
